Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026 · Version 1.0

By using Kart Cargo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before creating an account or submitting a shipment.

1. Service overview

Kart Cargo provides international parcel shipping services between Nigeria and the United Kingdom. We collect, weigh, and dispatch parcels on behalf of customers, coordinating with courier partners to facilitate delivery.

2. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.

3. Booking and pricing

A booking fee is charged at the time of shipment creation. This fee is non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfil the shipment. The final shipping cost is calculated based on the actual measured weight, not the declared weight.

4. Prohibited items

You must not ship: illegal items, weapons, drugs, flammable or hazardous materials, perishable items (unless pre-arranged), counterfeit goods, or any items prohibited by UK or Nigerian customs regulations.

5. Liability

Kart Cargo's liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the goods, up to a maximum of £100 per shipment unless additional insurance has been arranged. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, weather, or third-party couriers.

6. Customs and duties

You are responsible for ensuring your shipment complies with all applicable customs regulations. Any customs duties or taxes are your responsibility. False declarations may result in seizure, fines, or legal action.

7. Payment

Payments can be made by card (Stripe) or bank transfer. Bank transfer payments are subject to manual verification. Shipments will not be dispatched until full payment is confirmed.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations must be requested before your parcel has been received at our facility. Booking fees are non-refundable. Shipping fees will be refunded minus any costs already incurred.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
